Published in the State, Columbia, SC, Feb 1, 2007. Evelyn Bledsoe SALUDA - Evelyn Berry Bledsoe, 93, of 237 Bledsoe Trace, died Tuesday, January 30,2007, in Lexington Medical Center. Born in Saluda County, a daughter of the late Joe Ben and Ellen Virginia Sanders Berry, she was the wife of the late D.W. "Bubba" Bledsoe. She was a former employee of the Nantex Company and retired from Knights Industries. Mrs. Bledsoe was a lifelong member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Antique Teenagers. Surviving are a son and daughter in-law, Robert L. and Van Rae Bledsoe of Saluda, a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Debbie and Mark Hofti, a grandson, Glenn Bledsoe, two great-grandchildren, Heather Horn and Robbie Bledsoe and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Ramey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 2,2007, at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Antique Teenagers of Bethany United Methodist Church, 363 Bethstny Church Road, Saluda, SC 29138.
