I am looking for information on the family of John MACCRELLESS Jr. His father was named James. John Jr. was Ordinary for Edgefield, Lexington, and Richland Districts. He was also associated with the Financial Center of Leesburg and also Batesburg in I think Newberry Co. SC. He associated with John W. Lee, and John Thomas both prominent men from Leesburg. Any help on this family I would appreciate, like names of his children and his in laws and siblings. How did he come to name a daughter Hepzibah. Did he marry a BOND? How were they associated with the PRICE family other than marriage? His daughter Hepzibah married Joseph R. PRICE in 1825. I am also interested in the ancestors of Moses ARMSTRONG.
