Robert Watson LEXINGTON - Funeral services for Robert W. Watson, 69, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 22,2007, at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Officiating will be Pastor Don Burnette. Committal will be at 4 p.m. in Good Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday'evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Aubrey, Randell, Edwin, and Harry Watson, Samuel Stockman and Watson Carter. Mr. Watson passed away President's Day, Monday, February 19, 2007. Born in Ward, he was the son of the late Robert and Lena Kneese Watson. Mr. Watson was a teacher, he taught grades 7-12. Surviving are his wife, Helen Stafford Watson of Canada; two sisters, Linda Bates of Charleston and Janet Earwood of Monks Corner; brother, Russell Carrey of Sanford, NC. Mr. Watson had a large extended family which includes, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws who loved him.
