    3. Thank you! Does anyone have info on these two? I would like very much to learn more about Mary E., Jane B., and Capt. Wm Robertson. Freda Rober(t)son Here are some Marriage and Death Notices from the Charleston Observer from 1827-1845, for people from Edgefield District. Hope they help. 1. Earliest Stringers...
    2. Ted and Freda Noble
    3. Audrey's idea is great. I'd also like to see where the people migrated to from South CArolina. I have Stringers in Monroe County and Butler County, Alabama, that would really like to connect to the Stringers in Edgefield. Freda My earliest Stringer is Frances Stringer who married John Sterling Edward ABBE. Their daughter Mary Melissa Abbe married Cornelius Job Roberson in Monroe County, Alabama, in 1857. Freda I wonder if it would help us if we gave the date of how far back we have gone on our family line? Because of my many years of research, I have files on many of the names posted for Roll Call. However, I don't want to flood the List if any given person already has that information. Example: STRINGER I have notes from Mid 1700s, Craven Co, NC to Edgefield, SC on this name. Alma B. Reed Did any of your Burtons go to the Oglethorpe Co. area of Georgia in the earlier part of the 1800s? I am searching for the parents of Samuel Burton, who was born in VA about 1800, but lived his life in GA, so the family had to pass through SC. Samuel married apparently a widow by the name of Lucy Jackson on 22 Apr 1828 in Oglethorpe Co., GA. Thanks, Davine Roberts Jacksonville, AL

    2. Lee and Billie Jones
    3. The following was sent to me by Tom Sheffield, a cousin and desc. of William Dean and Nancy Bryant. Note he made a correction in the connection of one William Dean listed in the Estate of John Still, attaching him to Thomas Dean rather than William Dean Jr. Tom States: "Billy, in re-reading your notes, it occurred to me that the William Dean in this listing must be William Dean, the son of Thomas Dean and grandson of William Dean I, not my ancestor William Dean, son of William Dean I who died c. 1834." I have no death date for William the son of Thomas, but this is what I have on him.... subject to more research and additions and corrections by other Dean and/or Adams researchers: Descendants of William Dean 1 William DEAN b: 1813 d: in Texas . +Mary Ann ADAMS b: Abt. 1820 in Edgefield Co, SC d: Bef. 1850 in Edgefield Co, SC Father: Charles Adams Mother: Sarah Unknown Adams ..... 2 Susan DEAN b: Abt. 1832 ..... 2 Sabra Ann DEAN b: Abt. 1836 ..... 2 Sarah E.
