CONWAY | Cheryl Renee McRae Foster, 46, wife of Scott George Foster, died June 26, 2006 at Grand Strand Medical Center. Renee was born Jan. 26, 1960 in Dillon, a daughter of Carolyn Collins Jackson and the late Gilbert McRae Jr. She was employed with Carolina Opry in Group Sales. She was a graduate of Dillon High School and Columbia College. Renee was a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church. Surviving Renee in addition to her husband of the home are her mother, Carolyn Collins Jackson of Dillon; her step-father, Lynn Jackson of Dillon; a sister, Candace Everette of Atlanta, Ga.; her nieces and nephews, Sean Britt Everette, Mallory Disler, Mitchell Disler, Carrie Foster and Natalie Foster. Renee was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert McRae Sr. and her maternal grandparents, Neal and Reba Shaw Collins. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 29th at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
