Margie Lee Lane, 73, of Summerville, died Friday, March 16, 2007 at Roper Hospital. Funeral service for Mrs. Lane will be today at Trident Baptist Church at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Mrs. Lane was born March 8, 1934, in Dillon, SC daughter of the late Odell Lane and Lillian Lane. Mrs. Lane was an active member of Trident Baptist Church and a former member of Charleston Heights Baptist church. She was a homemaker. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trident Baptist Church Bus Ministry, 100 Montague Plantation Drive, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Survivors include one son; Michael Sammons and his wife Shirley of North Charleston, one sister; Emma Jean Thomas and her husband Greg of Summerville and one grandson; Brandon Sammons of North Charleston.
