DILLON — Lula B. McKenzie, 72, died Monday, March 19, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Dillon Congregational Holiness Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. this evening in the funeral home. Born in Robeson County, N.C., Nov. 22, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Doc Love and Ellie Barnes Love. She was a member of the Dillon Congregational Holiness Church and was the widow of the late Jessie McKenzie. Survivors include her daughters, Pat and Gene Hunt of Laurinburg, N.C., Glenda and Lacy Watts, Jeanette McKenzie, and Jackie M. Tyndall, all of Dillon; brother, Raeford & Freida Love of Jacksonville, N.C.; grandchildren, Melissa and Kevin Ammons, Travis and Elaine Lane, Amy and Rainey McRimmon, Jim Jim Bob Tyndall, Jessica and Michael Watts, MaryBeth Owens (William Weatherford), Brandon Ivey (Jennifer Polston); 14 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Frank Ray.
