Inez Jackson Teal Miller, 84, of St. Stephen, SC, a former waitress for Bennett's Restaurant in St. Stephen and for The Dock Restaurant in Moncks Corner, died Sunday evening in a Charleston hospital. The funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday afternoon, March 29, 2007, in Life Baptist Church, St. Stephen. Interment will follow in Bonneau Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm Wednesday evening, March 28, 2007. Mrs. Miller was born June 4, 1922, in Dillon County, a daughter of John Leroy Jackson and Mary Ellen Powers Jackson. She was the last survivor of ten children. Mrs. Miller was a member of Life Baptist Church. She was the widow of Thomas M. Teal and Tommy Miller and was predeceased by a son, Thomas Delton Teal. Surviving are, three daughters, Carolyn T. Sharp and her husband Glen of Moss Point, MS, Ellen T. Gonzales and her husband Pat of Elizabeth City, NC, and Billie T. Knapp and her husband Gordon of Farmville, VA; three sons, Jerry E. Teal and Roger K. Teal both of St. Stephen, and Michael Teal and his wife Irena of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren, Brian Just, David Teal, Corey Sharp, Josie DuPre, Emma Teal, Heather Dougherty, Mark Gonzales, Jessica Rutledge, and Graham Wadford; and nine great grandchildren.
