LAKE VIEW — Mrs. Ernestine H. Rogers, 78, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Funeral services will be Monday, March 19, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Lake View United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Fork. directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2007, at the funeral home. Mrs. Rogers was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Marshall Burn and Sue Hayes. She was a member of Lake View United Methodist Church. Surviving is her husband, Rueben Mills Rogers of the home; three daughters, Carrie Sue Walshock of Lake View, Honey Edge (Glenn) of Lake View, and Kit Lefler (Dale) of Myrtle Beach; one son, Rueben Rogers of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Jodi Watson, Cory Meekins, Lindsay Meekins, Haley Walshock, Mills Rogers, Trayce Rogers, Meredith Lefler, Ed Lefler and Shawna Roweles; great-grandchildren, Kahle Watson, Kaden Watson and Madison Ashmore; special nieces, Eunice Stephens and Jackie Berry and all of her special children that touched her life. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her sister, Mattie McRae.
