LATTA — Services for Nayhue Harrelson will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007, in Pyerian Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Harrelson, 88, died Sunday, March 4, in McLeod Medical Center-Dillon. Born Aug. 9, 1918, in Dillon County, he was the son of the late Garris Harrelson and Nolie Rogers Harrelson. He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church, and was a U. S. Army veteran. He leaves a lasting memory with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a host of relatives and loved ones. Survivors include his loving wife, Clara Bell Jackson Harrelson of Latta; daughters, Pamela Ann Hayes and Brenda Kathy Altman; son-in-law, Carl Altman; sister, Hazel Harrelson Tidd of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his four care angels during his lengthy illness, Judy Tunstall, Dorothy Hayes, Ruth Gause and Minnie Greene. Mr. Harrelson was predeceased by his son, Jackie Hue Harrelson.
