BLENHEIM — Services forw William Franklin McDowell ill be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Berea Center in Bennettsville with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 5-9 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon, SC. Mr. McDowell, 57, died Thursday, August 31, 2006, at his residence. Born in Marlboro County, July 19, 1949, he was the son of Margaret Edna Freeman McDowell and the late Manning McDowell. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and he retired from the National Guard and Bell South. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Driggers McDowell of Blenheim; daughter, Jill Feldner and her husband Britt of Conway; stepson, Alan Wallace, Jr. of Germany; mother, Edna McDowell of Blenheim; brothers, James McDowell of Florence, Ronnie McDowell of Dillon, Donnie McDowell, and Bruce McDowell, both of Blenheim; sisters, Ann Tynan of Blenheim, Sonya Skipper of Laurel Hill, NC, Wanda Wiggins of Sellers, Janice Webster and Barbara Webster, both of Blenheim; grandchildren, George Manning Feldner and Miles Gibson Feldner. Mr. McDowell was preceded in death by his half brother, J.W. Freeman of Blenheim
