Daniel McGirt, 61, died Sunday, September 24, 2006, at his residence. Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday in Calvary Assembly directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Born in Dillon County, March 12, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas McGirt and Mary Locklear McGirt. Survivors include his fiance', Peggy M. Hendrix of Dillon; brothers, Paul McGirt of Gastonia, NC, Sammy McGirt of Red Springs, NC, and Henry McGirt of Maxton, NC; nieces and nephews; niece, Rosie McLellan of Mullins; nephew, Mack Moody of Dillon.
