DILLON — Services for Timothy Wayne Walters will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Mr. Walters, 44, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at his residence. Born in Sumter, May 29, 1962, he was the son of Minnie Melton Elvington and the late Dewey Walters and Howard Fuzzy Elvington. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and was a licensed contractor. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Walters of Dillon; daughters, Monica Ferreira of Hamer, Mahaley Ann Walters and Taylor Ann Walters, both of Dillon; grandson, Jordan Ferreira of Hamer; mother, Minnie Elvington of Lake View; sister, Gloria Diane Solis of Lake View; brothers, Kevin Glenn Walters, Clifton Franklin Elvington, both of Lake View, and Charles Alan Walters of Dillon; stepbrothers, George Howard Elvington Jr., Benny Jo Elvington and Dennis Elvington, all of Florence; stepsisters, Kim Lynch of Raleigh, N.C., and Katrina Barnes of Greenville.
