Graveside services for Mildred Davis Moody will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Moody, 89, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born in Dillon County, September 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Memory D. Davis and Lillie McLendon Davis. She was a member of Dillon First Baptist Church, and was a retired Legal Secretary. Survivors include her sons, Ansel Moody, Jr., and his wife Jean of Dillon, a nd Carl D. Moody and his wife, Amanda of McClellanville. Mrs. Moody is preceded in death by her son, Louie R. Moody; brothers, M.D. Davis, Thad Davis, Ralph Davis, and Jimmy Davis; sisters, Mary D. Smith, Christine D. Skipper, and Maxine D. Townsend. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, P.O.
