Services for Mary Louise Whittington will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Latta Baptist Church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Whittington, 82, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Pines Nursing Home. Born in Horry County, SC, November 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Daggett Royals and Frosty Ann Vereen Royals. She was the widow of the late Harry Alton Weatherford and the late Leslie A. Whittington. She was a longtime member of Latta Baptist Church where she attended the Harriett Dew Sunday School Class. She was a retired Registered Nurse with over 40 years of service to the Dillon County Community. Survivors include her children, Hermon A. Weatherford and his wife, Marie of Latta, Sharon King and her husband, Marion of Rock Hill, Leslie "Andy" Whittington, Jr. and his wife, Gail of St. Matthews, SC, and Mary Camp and her husband, Brett of Florence; brother, Dr. Daggett Royals and family of Greenville; 13 grandchildren.
