CONWAY | Leroy Leverne Richardson, 78, of French Collins Rd., passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 at his residence following an illness. Mr. Richardson was born in Bennettsville, a son of Beulah Richardson McDowell. He was a member of East Conway Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a retired painter. Mr. Richardson was predeceased by his wife Myrtie Lee Richardson. He enjoyed fishing and eating on the river with family and friends, but most importantly was his great love and faith for his Lord and Savior whom he had been serving for many many years. Surviving are four sons, Doug Richardson and his wife, Sherry, of Conway, Donnie Richardson and his wife, Rita, of Gurley, Dennis Richardson and his wife, Lois, of Dillon, and Hank Huggins and his wife, Cheryl, of Loris; two daughters, Mary Catherine Hardwick and Patricia Ann Hilburn, both of Loris; one stepson, Robert Cooper and his wife, Linda, of Aynor; one stepdaughter, Reba Rabon and her husband, Kenneth, of Conway; one brother, Junior McDowell and his wife, Jean, of Columbia; and two sisters, Betty Hunt and her husband, Frank, of Lexington and Theresa Lee and her husband, Winfred, of Hilliard, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007 from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Seay and the Rev. Jeff Atkinson officiating.
