Services for Louise Elkins Young will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Young, 94, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 in McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. Born in Dillon County, January 27, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Sallie Elkins Hodge. She was the widow of the late Harry A.J. Young. Survivors include her daughters, Juanita Hewitt, and Virginia (Charles) Coates, both of Dillon; grandchildren, Cathy Prindle, and Georgia (Floyd) DuBose, of NY, Richard Andrew (Sandy) Harrison of Latta, Steven Coates of VA, and Tony (Sue) Coates of Manassas, VA; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her children, Benson and Eloise Ratley.
