DILLON — Sallie Oliver Bowen, 59, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Regan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Born Jan. 19, 1948, in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest S. Oliver, Sr. and Alma Summerlin Oliver. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church and was a retired receptionist for Dixiana Mill. Survivors include her husband, Danny Bowen of Dillon; sons, D.W. Bowen and Scott Moody, both of Dillon; sister, Audrey O. Allen of Hamer; and brothers, Ernest S. Oliver Jr. of Little Washington, Pa., William M. Oliver of Myrtle Beach and Bob Oliver of Hamer.
