LAKE CITY — Mrs. Amarell Weaver, 65, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Weaver was born in Lake City, a daughter of the late Rev. Fitchue McKenzie and Eunice McKenzie. She was the owner of Weaver Communications. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth W. Weaver; a son, Darman Weaver of Lake City; three brothers, Padgett (Emily) McKenzie, J.C. (Margie) McKenzie and Willis (Julianne) McKenzie all of Lake City; three sisters, Varnette (Joseph) Mixon of Sumter, Dorothy Jean (Carl) Daniels of Dillon and Brenda (Robert) Lee of Lake City; two granddaughters, Jessica Michelle Weaver and Sara Kinsy Weaver of Lake City; and a grandson, K.C. Weaver of Lake City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m, Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
