Services for Timothy Wayne Walters will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Mr. Walters, 44, died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at his residence. Born in Sumter, SC, May 29, 1962, he was the son of Minnie Melton Elvington and the late Dewey Walters and Howard "Fuzzy" Elvington. He was a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran, and was a Licensed Contractor. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Walters of Dillon; daughters, Monica Ferreira of Hamer, Mahaley Ann Walters, and Taylor Ann Walters, both of Dillon; grandson, Jordan Ferreira of Hamer; mother, Minnie Elvington of Lake View; sister, Gloria Diane Solis of Lake View; brothers, Kevin Glenn Walters, and Clifton Franklin Elvington, both of Lake View; step-brothers, George Howard Elvington, Jr., Benny Jo Elvington, and Dennis Elvington, all of Florence; step-sisters, Kim Lynch of Raleigh, NC, and Katrina Barnes of Greenville, SC.
