Services for Peggy Marie Summerlin Moody will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Moody, 81, died Saturday, January 6, 2006 in the Pines Nursing Home. Born in Dillon County, August 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Tom Summerlin, Sr. and Ruth Hamilton Summerlin. She was a member of Dillon First Bapist Church where she was a member of the Alice Hobeika Sunday School Class, and she was a retired Aide and worked in Central Service at St. Eugene Hospital for over seventeen years of service. Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Jean Moody of Dillon.; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Clarence Edward Rogers; grandson, Christopher Glen Rogers; sister, Alma Oliver; and brothers, Tom Summerlin, Jr., and Joe Summerlin.
