DILLON — Services for Peggy Marie Summerlin Moody will be held 3 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Moody, 81, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in the Pines Nursing Home. Born in Dillon County, Aug. 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Tom Summerlin Sr. and Ruth Hamilton Summerlin. She was a member of Dillon First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Alice Hobeika Sunday School Class, and she was a retired aide and worked in Central Service at St. Eugene Hospital for over 17 years of service. Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Jean Moody of Dillon; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Clarence Edward Rogers; grandson, Christopher Glen Rogers; sister, Alma Oliver; and brothers, Tom Summerlin Jr., and Joe Summerlin.
