Billy Earl Moody, 59, husband of Annette Paige Miller Moody, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 12 at the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Millers Cemetery in Lake View. Billy Earl was born July 4, 1947 in Dillon County, a son of Katie Snipes Moody and the late Mitchell Moody. He retired from Merita Bread Company. He served on the Pee Dee Electric CO-OP Board of Directors as a director for 31 years, where he was currently serving as Vice President. He was a Mason and a member of Fork Lodge # 258. Billy Earl was a member of Fork Baptist Church. Surviving Billy Earl in addition to his Wife are: His Mother: Katie Snipes Moody of Fork; a Daughter: Paige Moody Gerald and her husband Donny of Marion; a Daughter-in-Law: Lisa L. Moody of Lancaster; a Granddaughter: Courtney Faith Moody of Lancaster; and 2 Brothers: Kenneth Moody and his wife Jane of Fork and Larry Moody and his wife Leanora of Wilmington, Del. Billy Earl was predeceased by a Son, Timothy Earl Moody. Memorials may be made to the Hospitality House of Charlotte, P.O. Box 36891, Charlotte, N.C. 28236 or to the charity of ones choice.
