    3. Does anyone know what Butler Ruby Mae Gainey Perry Butler was married to? Jane LONGS Ruby Mae Gainey Perry Butler, 67, of Longs, died Friday, November 3, 2006 at Grand Strand Hospital, Myrtle Beach. She was born in Brunswick County, N.C. on August 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Leo Gainey and Ruby Kelly Gainey. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Living Waters Baptist Church in Longs. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers and knitting. Her special joy was spending time with her grandchildren. One who loved to laugh, she is remembered as an energetic, upbeat and joyful person. She was also one to whom you could take the burden of a problem and she would be more than happy to help find a solution. Surviving are four children, Daniel Perry Jr., Teresa P. Watts, Eric A. Perry and Dennis Perry; a brother, William Gainey; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren . Preceding her in death were two children, Sheila P. Watson and Kenneth J. Perry; and siblings, Leo Gainey, Frank Gainey, Billy Ray Gainey, Charles Gainey, Evelyn Rivenbark and Jeanette McCreight. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel in Wilmington, N.C. by the Rev. Eugene Ridley. Interment followed in Prospect Cemetery.
