LATTA — Services for Lorna Gerrard Edwards will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Latta United Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Edwards, 84, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, at McLeod Hospice House of Florence. Born July 7, 1922, in Melbourne, Australia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Garnett Gerrard and Flossie Dunston Gerrard. She was a member of Latta United Methodist Church and was retired from Lemmons Fashions in Dillon. She was the widow of David Thomas (D. Tom) Edwards. Survivors include her sons, Carl G. (Gayle) Edwards of Latta and Paul T. (Helen) Edwards of Surfside Beach; daughter, Ione E. (Glenn) Allen of Latta; brother, Noel Gerrard of Australia; grandchildren, Shelley E. Pritchett, Carla E. Shelly, Holly Edwards, Abigail Edwards, Blake Allen and Amanda A. Huggins; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gerrard of Australia. Memorials may be made to Latta United Methodist Church, or to the McLeod Hospice House of Florence.
