DILLON — Services for Marie Brown Herring will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Herring 80, died Sunday, Feb. 26, in a local nursing facility. Born in Darlington County, Dec. 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frank C. Brown and Susan Sineath Brown. She was a member of Dillon Church of God, and was retired from Wix. Survivors include her children, Brenda (Jack) Jackson and Ron (Mary) Herring, both of Florence, Gail (Curt) Melton of Scranton, Dale (Susan) Herring of Dillon, Anna (Harry) Page of Floyd Dale and Sue (Bobby) Darmon of Dillon; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
