DILLON — Services for John McNeil will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. McNeil, 65, died Thursday, Feb. 2, at his residence after an illness. Born in Dillon County, Nov. 23, 1940, he was the son of the late Zerno McNeil and Letha Hill McNeil. He was retired from Image Carpet. Survivors include his sons, Johnny Eugene (Tammy) McNeil of Dillon and Wade Josh (Lori) McNeil of Dillon; daughters, Sharon Cieluch of Dillon and Debbie (Eric) Hinson of Dillon; grandchildren, Erin, Dustin and Justin Hinson, Jonathan McNeil, Brandon McNeil, Matthew McNeil, Christopher Cieluch and Bradley Cieluch; and sisters, Joan Price and Ruth Williams, both of Hamer, Naomie McInnis and Martha Thornton, both of Dillon, Mary Taylor of Illinois and Mickey Luddum of Red Spings, N.C. Mr. McNeil was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Herring McNeil; and his daughter, Susan Letha McNeil.
