ELLIOTT, Mary Entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 27, 2006, Mary Patricia Newman "Patsy" Elliott, widow of John G. Elliott. Residence, James Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mary Patricia Newman Elliott are in invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Friday, March 3, 2006, at Nativity Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. on Thursday evening between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. A Vigil Service will begin at 6:00 Pm at the funeral home. Patsy was born in Dillon, SC on Saturday, September 23, 1933, a daughter of Stanley D. and Katherine Lighthart Newman. She graduated from Bishop England High School and the St. Francis School of Nursing. She retired after many years of faithful service. Patsy was predeceased by a son, Thomas E. Behlmer. She is survived by her children: Karen B. Price of Mt. Pleasant, George W. Behlmer of James Island, Pam B. Smith of of John's Island, Brenda R. Sippel of Lake Wylie, SC, a brother: Stanley D. Newman of Mt. Pleasant, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
