RIVERVIEW, Fla. — Memorial services for Forrest Sherwood “Woody” McKenzie Jr. will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 24, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, SC. Mr. McKenzie, 47, died Monday, February 20, 2006, in South Bay Hospital in Sun City, FL, after an extended illness. Born February 3, 1959, in Dillon, SC, he was the son of Sherwood McKenzie and Doris Gray McKenzie. He was employed by Wade Shows, Inc. for 20 years. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood McKenzie of Dillon; brothers, Andy (Kelly) McKenzie of Moncks Corner and Craig McKenzie and his special friend, Allison Cannady of Fernandina Beach, FL; nephew, Hunter Gray McKenzie of Moncks Corner; niece, Courtney Lee Ann McKenzie of Bluffton, SC; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucille C. McKenzie of Dillon; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to Debbie, John, Heather, Page, Madison, Devin and Trevor Armstrong of Riverview, Florida, for their tender, loving care.
