Bonnie Jean Byrd (January 17, 1948 - April 3, 2005) DILLON -BENNETTSVILLE-Services for Bonnie Jean Bethea Byrd will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Byrd, 57, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. Born in Dillon County, January 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Bethea and Helen Inez Roller Bethea. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, John Henry Byrd of Dillon; daughters, Flossie Thompson of Bennettsville, Theresa Herring of Dillon and Angela Altman of Cheraw; son, William Altman of Dillon; sisters, Rachel Hughes of York, Barbara Bethea of Clio, Brenda Hatcher and Bernice Thompson of Bennettsville, Beverly Smith of McColl, Flora Dew of Hamer; brothers, Bruce Bethea of Hamer and Barney Bethea of Bennettsville; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
