    3. WESTCOLUMBIA -DILLON-Graveside service for Mr. Donnie Caulder, 75, of West Columbia, will be held noon Monday, April 11, 2005, in Florence National Cemetery, Florence, with the Rev. S. DeWitt Atkerson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday evening in Shives Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans National Service Foundation, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250. Mr. Caulder died Thursday, April 7, 2005. Born in Dillon, he was a son of the late Henry and Annie Taylor Caulder. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army for seven years. Mr. Caulder received the Purple Heart and Bronze Start Medals. He retired from Hobart Corporation and was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church in Marion. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nellie S. Caulder of West Columbia; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah C. Eugene Brown of Lugoff; son and daughter-in-law, Donald Wayne and Brenda Caulder of Columbia; a grandson, Scott M. Brown; two granddaughters, Kimberly and Kayla Caulder; a great-granddaughter, Kristi Brown; a sister, Eva Dean Davis of Dillon; and a brother, Floyd F. Sweat of Hope Mills, N.C. In addition to his parents, Mr. Caulder was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Williamson and Christine Cook. submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
