David W. McDonald (March 31, 1916 - April 19, 2005) DILLON Services for David W. McDonald will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. McDonald, 89, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in Dundee Nursing Home. Born in Marietta, NC, March 31, 1916, he was the son of the late William Asa McDonald and Minnie Adams McDonald. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and was a retired Farmer. Survivors include his sons, William D. McDonald of Dillon and James McDonald of Florence; daughter, Barbara M. (Jerry) Collins of Bennettsville; brother, George McDonald of Orlando, FL; sister, Aline Williams of Red Springs, NC; grandchildren, Cynthia C. (Kip) Deaver, Lynn Collins Gliarmis, Billie J. (Lee) Collins, Jr., William M. (Vicky) Collins, and Angela McDonald; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M.
