James Allen Hinson, Sr. (December 31, 1929 - February 22, 2005) DILLON Services for James Allen Hinson, Sr. will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 25 in Dillon First Baptist Church with interment in Greenlawn Perpetual Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Hinson, age 75, passed away February 22, 2005, at his home. Born in Dillon County, December 31, 1929, he was the son of the late Roland and Mamie Allen Hinson. He served in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dillon. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Joyce Fore Hinson of Dillon; sons, Frank (Terrie) of Myrtle Beach and Robbie (Beth) Hinson of Dillon; twin daughters, Linda (Michael) Leonhardt of Georgetown and Glenda (Robert) Schleich of Dillon; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by his eldest son, James Allen Hinson, Jr. (Nancy).
