Dorothy Rush Ross (September 16, 1913 - February 27, 2005) DILLON Services for Dorothy Rush Ross will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mrs. Ross, 91, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 in McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. Born in Callison, SC, September 16, 1913, she was the daughter of the late James Rush and Tempie Deal Rush. She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, was a graduate of Winnsboro High School in Ninety Six, SC, and was a retired Supervisor for over forty years with Dillon Manufacturing. Mrs. Ross was the widow of the late Oscar Blease (O.B.) Ross. Survivors include her sons, James Wallace Ross of Spartanburg, SC and Charles Truman Ross of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Ammons; son, Tommy Ross; sisters, Margaret Bradshaw and Evelyn Hedgepath; brother, Thomas Rush submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
