Margaret Owens Meekins (October 28, 1932 - February 11, 2005) LAKE VIEW Margaret Owens Meekins, 72, died Friday, February 11, 2005, in McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday in Piney Grove Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening in the funeral home. Born in Dillon County, Ocotber 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Tracy Owens and Opal Owens Moody. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and was a retired restaurant owener. Survivors include her husband, Leroy Meekins, Sr. of Dillon; sons, Tommy Owens, Jr. (Linda) of Dillon, Wylie Owens (Debbie) of Darlington, and Gene Owens (Valli) of Dillon; daughter, Bonnie Doyle of Lake View, Linda Montrose (Johnny) of Florence; stepchildren, Roy Meekins, Ray Rice, and Bobby Meekins all of Dillon; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
