MARION -MARION-HORRY-Mrs. Beulah Proctor Alexander, 91, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. A graveside memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 in Rose Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Proctor and the Rev. Jim Bell officiating. The services will be directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Alexander was born Nov. 10, 1913, in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Mitchell Rembert Proctor and the late Mary Susan Hamilton Proctor. Mrs. Alexander retired from American Tobacco Co. as a cigar maker. Surviving Mrs. Alexander are two brothers, Mitchell Proctor of Marion and David Proctor of Tennessee; two sisters, Patricia Bunch of Surfside Beach and Susie Bell of Durham, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
