DILLON — Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Pittman, 77, formerly of Dillon, will be conducted at noon today in the Manning Baptist Church, with burial to follow at the St. Marys Cemetery. The Rev. Frankie Thomas will officiate and The House of Thomas Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Pittman departed this life, Monday, Jan. 2, 2006. She was born to the late Allen and Lillie Bell McNair and was the wife of the late Mr. George Pittman. She was a member of Manning Baptist Church and Bright Star of the Valley No. 217. Two sons, Levern Pittman and George Pittman Jr., preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Mildred Irving; three daughters, Georgia German, Evelyn Clark and Deloris Pittman, all of Dillon; four sons, Larry Pittman of Florence, Billy Pittman and Jimmy Pittman, both of Dillon, and Allen Pittman of Benson, N.C. Mrs. Pittman also leaves fond memories to two sisters-in-law, Eloise Page and Louise Robinson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
