William E. Brumbles (May 9, 1941 - January 29, 2005) LATTA William E. Brumbles, 64, died Saturday, January 29, 2005, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday in Catfish Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visistation will be 7-9 Monday evening in the funeral home. Born in Dillon County, May 9, 1941, he was the son of the late Bosser and Ruth Brumbles. He was a member of Catfish Creek Baptist Church, a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran, and was a retired construction worker. Survivors include his wife, Edna Haselden Brumbles of Latta; daughters, Lisa (Allen) Powers, Darlene Little of Latta, and Crystal (Brian) Norton of Dillon; brothers, Bobby (Ann) Brumbles of Hamer and Kenny (Sandra) Brumbles of Dillon; sisters, Louise (Charles) Miles of Florence and Betty (David) Dean of Columbia; 5 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
