MULLINS-DILLON-Clifton Good Sugar Martin, 70, husband of Eleanor Owens Martin, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glenn Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Mr. Martin was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Horry County, a son of the late Lige and Della Small Martin. He was a retired construction worker. Surviving Mr. Martin in addition to his wife of the home are two daughters, Robbie Arnette and her husband Alex of Lake View and Cheryl Moody and her husband Lyn of Lake View; three stepdaughters, Diane Treadway of Marion, Gloria Shelley and her husband Jimmy of Marion and Martha Hyatt and her husband Dennis of Floyd Dale; a stepson, Robert Louis Bullard and his wife Vickie of Marion; a brother, Vernon Martin and his wife Dolly of Lake View; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
