Taylor, Willadine MULLINS-MARION-Mrs. Willadine Thomas Taylor, 87, widow of Askins Worth Taylor, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Watson Cemetery, with the Rev. George Ganey and the Rev. Laura Gasque officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor, a lifelong resident of Marion County, was born June 13, 1917, a daughter of the late Jesse Rupert Thomas and the late Ora Roberts Thomas. She was a retired teacher and homemaker. Mrs. Taylor taught in the Marion County and Dillon County schools and retired from Dillon High School. She was a graduate of Zion High School and a graduate of Columbia College. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving Mrs. Taylor are a son, Alvin Askins Taylor and his wife Marion of Charleston; two grandchildren, Lee Worth Taylor and Ann Wyatt Taylor; and three special nieces, Patsy McRae and her husband Billy of Mullins, Robbie White of Mullins and Rena Agnew and her husband Al of Mullins.
