Bobby Floyd Bethea, Sr. (September 22, 1937 - January 16, 2005) DILLON Services for Bobby Floyd Bethea III will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethea Family Cemetery. Mr. Bethea, 67, died Sunday in McLeod Regional Medical Center. Born in Dillon County, September 22, 1937, he was son of Sophia Jackson Bethea and the late Thad C. Bethea. He was a retired logger. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Bowen Bethea of Dillon; son, Bobby Floyd Bethea Jr. of Dillon; mother, Sophia Jackson Bethea of Hamer; sisters, Sarah Arnette and Jackie Thompson of Hamer, Joyce Kinlaw of Rowland, N.C.; brothers, Bennett Bethea of Little Rock and Ronald Bethea of Hamer; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Bethea and Spencer Bethea of Lexington, S.C.
