Dew, Kenneth FAIRMONT, N.C.-MARION, SC-LAKE VIEW, SC-Mr. Kenneth C. Dew, 68, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at his home after an illness. Funeral service will be Friday, March 4, at Bear Swamp Baptist Church in Lake View. Burial will be in Elvington Family Cemetery in Lake View directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Dew was born in Marion County the son of the late Levi and Almena Carter Dew. Mr. Dew was a member of Bear Swamp Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Navy. Surviving are his wife, Patricia H. Dew of the home; three sons, George Alford (Anna) of Lake View, Kenneth Taylor (Angela) of Grand Ridge, Fla., and Gregory Taylor (Melessia) of Panama City, Fla.; three daughters, Jenny T. Everhart (Buddy) of Panama City, Fla., Almanda Barfield (Adam) of Fort Hood, Texas and Cindy Ragowoski of Marion; a sister, Mary Kathryn Evans of Fairmont, N.C.; a special uncle, Uncle Jock Dew of Lake View; and 12 grandchildren submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
