Inez Keith Brooks, 84, died Thursday, December 7, 2006, in McLeod Medical Center-Dillon. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Born in Dillon County, March 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Keith and Eunice Hyman Keith. She was a member of the Dillon Church of God, and was the widow of the late Jerry Brooks. Survivors include her son, Andrew Murdick Brooks of Dillon; daughters, Lettazoe Thompson and JoAnn Huggins both of Dillon; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her son, McRoy Brooks; brothers, Robert Keith, Melvin Keith, and W.L. Keith; sisters, Leona Wilkes and Mary Seals.
