Graveside services for will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Alford, 72, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at her residence after an illness. Born in Ohio, September 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William Thornton and Nellie Rush Thornton. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Nellie & Andy Aston of Latta; grandsons, Andrew Aston and Mark Aston, both of Latta.
