DILLON Services for Ruth Douglas Owens will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Owens, 80, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born June 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Willis Preston Rowell. She was a member of Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was retired from Dillon High School as the Cafeteria Supervisor. She was the widow of the late Roland Lee Douglas and Junior Owens. Survivors include her sons, Preston Douglas of Florence, John Wayne Douglas of Johnsonburg, PA, and Jerry Douglas of Dillon; nephews, Rev. Danny Campbell of Chesapeke, VA, and David Campbell of Highland Springs, VA; sister-in-law, Myrtle Brewer of Florence; brother-in-law, Bill Douglas of Dillon; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
