William Durwood Lane, 56, died Monday, December 18, 2006, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursay in Shiloh Chapel with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Born in Dillon County, June 10, 1950, he was the son of the late Horace Haselden and Bertha Mae Wiggins Lane. He was a member of Shiloh Chapel and was Plant Manager at Lane Wood Products in Marion. He was the widower of the late Ruth C. Lane. Survivors include his children, Annette (George) Caulder of Sellers, Tammy (Michael) Oxendine of Latta, Roxanne (Donald ) Oxendine of Fairmont, NC, and William (Becky) Lane of Latta; brothers, Ralph Lane of Sellers and Gerald Lane of Dillon; sisters, Willie Mae (Shorty) Haselden of Dillon, Shelby Jean Renaud of Marion, and Catherine Hyatt of Dillon; special friend, Virginia Clark; grandchildren, Crystal, and Matthew Caulder of Sellers, Aaron, Jeremy, and Adam Oxendine of Latta, Chantel, Brooke, and Skylear Lane, and Summer Oxendine all of Fairmont, NC, Joshua, and Megan Lane of Latta; great-grandchildren, Madison Caulder and Bryson Caulder.
