    2. DILLON — Services for Helen Wallace will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Wallace, 66, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2206, in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born in Dillon County, Nov. 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Church and Grace Collins Church. She was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the widow of the late U.G. Wallace. Survivors include her children, Rufus Dean Wallace of Dillon, Alice Hayes of Latta, James (Georgena) Wallace of Fork, and Rebecca (Tommy) Grimsley of Dillon; adopted daughter, Kasi Wallace of Dillon; sisters, Elizabeth Cox of Darlington, Billie Joyce Hayes of Florence, Rose Marie Morris of Darlington and Gail Hines of Timmonsville; brothers, Ernest Church and Roger Church, both of Dillon; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Wallace; and her son, William Gene Wallace. Published in the Morning News on 12/24/2006
