DILLON — Walter Cecil Jackson, 49, died at his residence. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Born Feb. 17, 1957, in Dillon County, he was the son of the late Cecil Jackson and Becky Norton Jackson and his late godparents, Alton and Gladys Hyatt. He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include his half sister, Ann Jones of Latta; two aunts; an uncle; and brothers, Dennis Hyatt, Pete Hyatt, Ricky Harrelson and Robert Earl Jackson, all of Dillon.
