DILLON — Barbara Ginsberg Kornblut, 73, died Thursday, December 14, 2006, in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Hebrew Cemetery, Church St., Florence, SC, directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Born in the County of Carleton City of Ottawa (Canada), April 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Eli Ginsberg and Ann Cooper Ginsberg. She was former Worshipful Master in the Eastern Star, former president of the Pilot Club, member of McLeod Medical Center-Dillon Auxillary, and was secretary of Kornblut’s for 45 years. Survivors include her husband, Sigmond Kornblut of Dillon; daughters, Janice K. Rosen of Springfield, VA, and Dana K. Whaley of Dallas, TX; sister, Rhena Dumas of Columbia; grandchildren, Lindsay Elizabeth Rosen and Adam Benjamin Rosen, both of Washington, DC. Mrs. Kornblut was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra K. Frank.
