Thelma Irene Kronenburg, 86, died Friday, December 29, 2006 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, March 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert L. Wilt and Mary Agnes Linaburg Wilt. She attended Hamer Church of God, and was retired after 20 years of service with Hedwin Corporation, and was a homemaker. She was the widow of the late Edward Anthony Kronenburg, Sr. Survivors include her daugthers, Thelma Marlene Brown of Dillon, and Pamela J. Cole of Baltimore, Maryland; step-son, Marynard W. Vedral of Baltimore, Maryland; sister, Vivian Crouse of Sykesville, Maryland; nephew, Charles (Chuck) Kronenburg of Virginia Beach, VA; special friends, Trema Baggett, and Cleta Lamb, both of Hampden, Maryland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kronenburg was preceded in death by her sons, Edward A. (Dutie) Kronenburg, Jr., Donald Eugene Kronenburg, and Kenneth Michael Kronenburg. Visitation will be held 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31 at Thelma Marlene Brown's home, 2734 Highway 301 North, Hamer. Graveside memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore Maryland. Visitation will held 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 5 at Burgee-Heuss Funeral Home. Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
